OUTDOOR LIGHTING

I am having serious difficulty getting outside lights to display properly in render mode. In a court area surrounded by a low solid wall (railing) I entered lights which fail to display most times and always when I shoot the camera into the court from outside.
My render profile is set to permit multiple passes.

Very frustrating. Help will be greatly appreciated.

By memory fixture lights will not display in renders from outside if light is placed in a defined room inside, your case court. in other words the render camera must be in same room. try using a render spot light or simlar and aim it at court.

I totally agree this should be changed for fixture lights in external rooms ie porches etc as most wall lanterns etc are placed in porch room and then don't show, post it in suggestions please
