Room Label & Dimension

Some how ... I don't know how... I have lost room measuremets
on my plan screen.
I looked at HELP where the following is stated:

"Floor areas can be measured to the exterior main layer surface or to the surface of the wall. Specify which method you prefer on the General tab of the Floor Defaults dialog. "

I went to this default screen and found nothing regarding
methods of display.

Is this a misprint or what.

After a little digging I had turned off room dimension in the layer
display options.

I think there might be a couple of misprints in the 10.o manual. The other one I had trouble with is locating the "show lower pony wall in plan view."
