elyptical shapes to porch beam

Is there a way to create an arch or elyptical curve to the bottom of a porch beam between columns. I am making columns out of soffit boxes and attaching materials and color/texture, etc. I tried soffit boxes for the beam, but can't get an elyptical or arched shape for the bottom edge.

In your libraries there are doorways that have round, eliptical, gothic ,etc tops to them.

these can be cased or wrapped as far as the trim goes.
