    Alcove Built-in Bath

I would like to put bath tub in an "bay window" alcove. It is to be built-in and under-mount.

I can do the undermount tub in a base cabinet, but I don't know how to make the base cabinet be shaped to fit the alcove so I did walls instead.

I've created the walls and dropped them so that the apron material will be tile. I've added a custom countertop. Now I need the tub.

I've attached a pdf of the area.

What is the best way to do this please?

I would use the tub in a cabinet and then use two additional cabinets for the sides.

Not sure how to make the cabinets fit, also the tub ends up too small to drop into the center one.

I think I attached it this time so you can see the relationships.

Is your tub a rectangular tub? Or is it shaped to fit the alcove?

I'm talking about the tub. If the tub is retangular. This will take multible cabinets to do.

It is supposed to be oval, or rounded on each end, I'm just using the tubs in the v10 library. My client hasn’t chosen the exact tub yet it should be aprox. 72 x 36 max.

If the back and side walls were square at 90 I would understand doing it with the cabinet, so that is what is mostly throwing me off.

Use a cabinet just for the tub, make it as long as it needs to be add the tub. Fill in the back with a cabinet or cabinets as required and use cabinets for the side.

    Look at this http://www.chiefarchitect.com/chieft...ht=corner+sink
