On the training video it said change arch type nd then look at it in view to see how it looks. The preview isn't always right.Try another arch type. You might have to change the hieght of the arch to.

Have you tried blocking the transom with the door (or window) below? Sometimes this helps.

thank you for the help. I have tried both of the suggestions. Chies will only allow me to select broken arch and it will not mull with the window below. I had the window set up as a round top, but it did this when I moved it to place. The room is a formal living with a vaulted ceiling and the gable is above. I think it has something to do with the ceiling should be there, but I have the ceiling over this room unchecked.

Oh, okay. This is probably due to having the window span across two levels of walls. Try deleting the attic wall and reshaping the lower wall so that the transom can reside in a single wall.

    what version are you running?

it looks like you are suppressing the casing (thus the brick around the archtop)

have you resized the window in a view?

send the plan and I will quit guessing...

For the round top window, try setting the height of that window to half of it's width, then open wdw dbx, select arch and you should be able to select round top. Make sure ceiling is unchecked. Block the bottom two windows first, then select that block and the one above and block together. Then after they're blocked, you can recess in the brick if you wish....Good time to add to your windows library. Set your rgh openings and change the components to the way you want them to read on the Materials List. If you use 1x4's under the windows, you can add them as accessories.

Checking a little further, I noticed if I check single wall hole with the blocked unit, the results are similar to what you show.
