Landscape printing Problem??

I just purchased an HP DesignJet 110 Plus 24" wide printer to print 24" x 36". I am a little confused on settings from Chief 10 the paper can only be inserted short side first. so when I send the layout do I set the layout to landscape and rotate the drawings???? or can I do the layout in landscape ARCH D???

I'm not familiar with that particular printer, but you should be able to set up the layout portrait or landscape regardless of the way the paper is entered??
