1/2 Height walls

I've been trying to put a 1/2 height (900mm) wall under a bench & butt it into a full height wall. Because the walls are of the same type it reverted to a full height. I then made a new wall of the same definitions but gave it a new name & it worked, except when I do a render camera view it shows a shadow along the ceiling and the Full height wall has only one layer of wall lining and no end lining which it has if the 2 walls aren't connected. As usual comments will be greatfully accepted.

Max, I may not understand your problem correctly, but you can make your half wall a solid railing and change your materials to match the full height wall.

Now that's a good idea, Cliff. I'll try that. I noted, in the manual, that hand rails in stepped floors & ceilings work in creating part walls but never thought of using it that way. I'll let you know what happens.
