ah ha, Tim - you've cracked it - that's my problem.
Thanks for the 10.02 - I hadn't got that far.
Cheers,

You should be able to update any version of 10 (10.01, 10.01a, or 10.02) to 10.02a using the update. I don't beleive the update is corrupted. The update seems to work fine when going from 10.02 to 10.02a. Apparently, there is a problem going from the older versions to 10.02a. We will look into this on Monday and make sure the update is corrected.

Looking at the file sizes of the updates, it appears that the latest update (10.02a) shouldn't be able to update all previous versions and was likely built only as a 10.02 to 10.02a update.

Good to hear some are having no problems. Mine installed fine and crashed (on exit) within about 2 minutes.

The update file should be corrected now. Please let tech support know if you have any additional problems downloading and/or installing the update.
You might also notice that we have posted notes on the update as well.

Dermot,
Question: If I have already upgraded from 10.02 to 10.02a via the 10f-1002aHist.exe 745KB version, do I need to install the 10f-1002aHist.exe 3448KB version?

If the previous 10.02a patch worked you should be OK.

"The new Fill Window Building Only menu item works similarly to the Fill Window tool but ignores the terrain perimeter. You can add this new tool to any toolbar using the Customize Toolbar dialog."
That sound like a great new feature.
