I've been practicing with 10.0 and have tried to insert a bay windo and a box bay. What I'm shooting for are bays and box bays inserted into a wall rather than boxing out the wall. The default seems to be for the latter without a way to opt out.

Any suggestions/

If you want the floor raised, take a 3d view and select the bay or box and raise it the desired height.
