Cabinet usage

How do you create/select a cabinet or series of cabinets to make up a penninsula with an eating counter (essentially a 12"-14" overhang). I am not trying to elevate the eating surface, just extend the counter on the 'patron' side.

Draw a custom countertop....there is an icon for this (I think a child of cabinets), or draw a polyline box and convert to countertop.
