Printing a banner
I know this is not an art questions, (kind of) I am looking to print a 3' x 8' banner.
I am hoping someone here can help.
I have a designjet 750c plus plotter 36" wide (driver v4.63) and windows xp pro,
I have done some interior renderings using CA and want to get this banner (3' x 8') out in front of the house where folks can see what the inside will look like.
The problem I am having is it wants to plot on multiple sheets of paper and I want it to plot on one long 8' sheet, 3' wide.
I have played with many paper sizes and can not seem to get one long sheet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I recently printed a 3’ X 15’ birthday banner on my Designjet 500c in a Chief Layout. You will need to go to the print preferences of the 750 and set up a custom page size of 3’ X 8’. One thing about V10 is they got rid of the font size limit. The banner I did was in V9.54 and I had to import a BMP of the text in order to get it big enough.

Thanks Ed,
Where are you finding a layout that large?
The largest I am finding in CA is 36 x 48.
Thanks

Once you make a custom size in your printer, and then make a new layout in Chief it will be at the custom size. Make sure the 750 is the default printer.

Ed,
I have tried many times in MS Publisher and I could not get it to work,
Then after reading your post I set a size in my plotter dbx 36 x 96, I am not sure how but I grabbed a larger layout in CA, edited it a bit, changed the size to 36 x 96 and I now have my banner with many interior pics to hang in the front of my house.
THANKS MUCH
David
