Dude, you've got some issues.
OK, after reading that, now I've got issues.
My only issue, is finding the time to overclock this mustang. With the built in HVAC system, it's only running at 32c, and under load (rotating a line drawing rendering technique in Chief), reaches only 44c. With a threshold of 85c (max, about 95), seems like I've got a bit of wiggle room. With the stock of 3.4Ghz, I hope to make 4.5 or 5Ghz:eek:
Here's George with his Super Puter. The monitor is to his left so you can't see it.
Very Nice Pat :o
I'm envious George. I had to buy a new desktop but it's nothing like yours...although it's better than what I had.
I bet I could to a render in half the time or more with your setup.
I'm going to get Kerky, and we'll compare a time with your time on the same plan.
Here's the guts....
At the risk of dating myself; that's "Rat Fink" in a '32 Duece Coup. He thought he had all the speed, but decided to get out of town when he looked around inside this computer.
George:
I remember Rat Fink :)

Well....I already knew you were OLD Lew:p I think I might be guilty of taking this thread a bit off topic.......OH well, needed a little spicing up anyway.
Rod;
That's the water cooling system, and no on the rendering, that's Patricia's area of expertise. I'm just going to try one to make a comparison of my system to hers.
Good Lord!
All this computer talk makes me feel :confused: I know about design but computers, no way!
I just found out yesterday, that I guess Im in the ballgame. I thought I had a 32 bit system on my Dell XPS 710 but its a 64., 4 Gig of memory and a intell duo processor so I guess Im good to go if Im upgrading.
Again who knows we could be talking about pieces of the new Lexus engine and I wouldnt know. Ask me about latest home trends not computers! :p
Oh besides house design Im also into cars, so Im good on that topic too if this threads strays. ;)
