I am trying to export a layout file do a DWG file. When I import this file into autocad, I get every layer from all sheets on one sheet. Is it possible to convert a layout sheet into a dwg? If so How?

While in the Layout view choose the menu item CAD, then choose CAD
Detail From View.
Use the CAD Detail Management dbx and open the Untitled view that you just sent.
The entities that are displayed look like the walls ect. that you had in the Layout, but they are actually now standard geometry that you can edit.
You can now change the layers of the entities to what ever you want and you can then choose the FILE menu and choose Export -----> Current View DWG and make the settings in the following dbx as you like. Earlier versions of AutoCAD files are usually best for compatibility.
Hope this is what you wanted.
