Hold down the Control key and move the 2 sides together. Sometimes you just have to slam them together.. Also make sure your passthru is set to 0 separation in the window DBX.
Hmmm, I'm confused ???
why a pass-thru next to a doorway ???
why not just a larger doorway ???
seems strange to me ....
you will probably have to post the plan to get more help than quesses
Lew
I would create a Doorway Symbol. I assume that you don't need to insert a door in the doorway portion, but if you do the Doorway Symbol will allow that.
Doorway Symbols are a little bit complicated to create but it can be done if you know how to use Chief.
Mark,
Here's the easy way:

Place the door and the pass-thru next to each other and then use transform/replicate to move one of them the exact distance that they are separated (post dimension). It works perfectly.
Thanks Perry- had been trying that but was doing in plan and still see the post there so thought it didn't work:o.
Lew-because it's there, will go away if I have my way
Joe- how? psolids?

nothing really new
If that's framing ,Maybe just turn off framing, for a view of it. Or delete it, and then use Retain wall framing just for that wall and I assume you have auto wall framing on.
Mark,
Anything you can display in 3D (Solids, PSolids, etc) can be converted to a Symbol.
However, in your case I'd just do what I said in Post #5
