insert a point at the center of your circle, select the object; transform-replicate dbx/ copy 23x's, rotate=15d, about current point.

Turn on "show object centers". Place a point on the center of the circle. Select the object you need to copy and use the Transform/Replicate tool. At the bottom you will see "about current point". You will need to also check box rotate. You will need to do the math to fill in that field.
Thanks guys, I figured it out just as you replied. This is part where I liked AC a bit more. I guess it's all a matter of getting used to something new.
