Hole in Countertop

I have a hole in a countertop for a sink to show through. It worked great, but how do I hide the polyline that is used for the hole?

I think you can change the pline used for the hole to a layer that is turned off in 2d.

I do this for roof holes for dormers. I would imagine that it would work the same for a hole in a countertop.

I assume you mean to print in plan view... Put it on a layer that you turn off for plan views.

Yes. For plan view, I put it on a layer that is to be turned off. You could make a new layer "Cabinets,Countertops, Hole" and turn it off in 2D.

In general, anything you can select can be put on a different layer.

V10 has a much more powerful layer paradigm.

Conversely, if you want to be able to select it, you can change the line color to that of the counter top, or white, if you use a screen color other than white.
