Looking for CA users in my area...

How many CA users are here in Fairfield County? I'm looking to find some local help. both with plans and ideas. Who's out there?

Thanks for starting the thread. I'm in Westport, lived in Stamford for 8 years. Using Chief for 17 months or so now; love it. Version 10.08.

BTW, I've designed a number of houses and additions in Greenwich, and have a good understanding (believe it or not) of their FAR and zoning regs.

From time to time, I find myself needing to outsource construction drawings (for permitting and construction) in Chief. Please let me know if you'd be interested.

Thanks for responding. I'll be in touch. It's good to find a local architect that is using Chief. I would, of course, be interested in forging a new relationship. I have been using Chief for a little over ten years. (Wow, has it really been that long?!?) I bought the product bach then because I simply could not afford AutoCad as a carpenter back in the 90s. Luckily, the guys at ART have done an incredible job "evolving" their software.

I regularly "take in" Autocad (.DWG, .DXF)files from area architects and convert them to virtual models. We should talk.

We are a construction claims company located in Hamden, CT and are considering purchasing Chief Architect 10. We are looking for someone who is also in CT/New England area who can give us a recommendation on the software, and possibly give us assistance/training. I have been using CA for over 14 years for my own design build and now anly design work for other builders or home owners. I also help a lot of CA users stuck on CD's.

Hey everyone, I live in CT too, Hartford county, though. I'm 16 years old and used CA in an architecture class last year. Unfortunatly there was no follow up class so now I'm taking web design. However, I have incorporated my architecture designs into my website.
