Walls, Normal is where the line color should come from. There is no 2d door frame.
That said, I cannot get the end of the wall at the door to display a different color than the rest of the wall.
Perhaps Copy/paste an example into a blank plan, and post it.

Think about how layers and wall definitions work...
Dave,
Good work, you had the answer all along... Now, what happened to Scott? I really miss the challenges Louis used to post.

Aha..... got it! Thanks guys
This remains a mystery to me, short of inserting a CAD line and coloring it as desired. You guys must have shorted out Scott's computer because I don't see any referral to a new "how to" video here yet. And I had my daily dose of coffee and some chocolate to boot!!! I am keeping the popcorn machine on standby. Yes Bill, Louis used to have dome pretty good challenges. I guess the cabinet business in TX must be very good for Katy and Louis.
Hi Curtis:
No CAD were harmed...errr...I mean used in this exercise. You can accomplish what Bill and I have shown with wall definitions and layers. Why you would want to in real work, I don't know, but it is an interesting exercise.
I have a hunch that Charles' got his walls goofed up when he was implementing Dorothy's method for displaying walls in plan view, but that is just a guess.
Play around some more, you'll get it.
Curt,
You are the man when it comes to solving complex problems. This is so easy, perhaps that's why it's eluding you. Think in terms of 'layers' and then you will 'not' be in a 'jamb'.
