I'm trying to import a logo done in a dwg file format. Is there a way to import this file to page 0? The import dwg/dxf option is greyed out in the import drop down menu. The logo is only about 2 1/2" wide by 3" high. I tried importing the entire 24" x 36" border sheet as a pdf but that did not work and my pdf maker will not give me the option to do a 2 1/2" x 3" logo size only. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Convert the Logo to a jpg. Then insert that image to your Layout on page 0
Import into a plan. Then block it and save it to your library. From there you can drop it into the layout.
I think a PNG May be better than a JPEG. maybe a PNG is better than JPEG or PDF. recent thread about this and I am not completely clear on the best choice.Quote:

Probably the simplest would be to simply capture it using the Windows "Snipping" Tool. Save that as either a png or a jpg and insert it as an image. It's easy to resize an image and it won't clog the Layout the way a dwg can.
Thank you for all the suggestions. I imported the logo onto a plan the sent it to page 0 layout and it worked fine with no need to re-size. I'll try a different method to set up a border template so I do not need to keep a plan associated with the border template all the time.
Put it in a cad detail window within the layout, and send from there...then you won't need a separate plan file.Quote:
