X5 Trouble...
I just opened my computer and opened X5 and it was like it hasn't been opened before it asked me to import my libraries and tool bars. There were no files that i recently worked on listed in the splash screen. It's literally like a reinstall that I didn't do. Anyone ever have this happen before?! I'm stumped and frustrated because I have a ton of work I have to get done this week and now I'm going to lose 4 hours resetting my libraries and toolbars, etc.
Just wondering if there is a quick fix or am i screwed?

I have not had this happen but if I did, I would repair or reinstall.

Happened to me installing on a second computer, the materials in the core catalogue that I re-downloaded had no textures. Just looked then and now they're there?

Well I got the libraries back up and all of my stuff is there. The default tool bar configuration is corrupted though so I had to load the extended default tool bars. So I can work for now. But I'm probably going to do a reinstall later this week just to be safe. Uhg, I hate doing that.

Aaron,
If Chief is working OK, why would you reinstall?
If it is broken, you would know.

Weird behavior like you describe starts me down a basic maintenance path of checking the hard disk for errors and repairing them if found, checking for malware, etc.
Before you reinstall it is a good idea to make sure that you are confident that your computer hardware is working correctly.
Things like what you describe don't happen without a cause. Ideally you figure out what the problem was and correct it.

Did you, or some recently installed software, change the computer name? If I recall, Chief (and Many other software titles) read that as a new install and start you from the ground level.

I would check all file paths and make sure a directory has not been renamed. Sounds like a change in directories to me.
