'haze' over building
Hi Chieftains,
I'm trying to complete a quick render of a building I did some time ago in X12 using X15. I've been working on it for a couple of days and now all of a sudden there's this haze over the entire building. It looks like a plywood material. Any ideas how to get rid of it? Thanx (PIC attached)Attachment 59526

Z fighting of your "0,0" origin is too far away or the camera clipping distance needs adjusting.

This just happened to me the other day when I added a large site plan to the model. http://www.chieftalk.com/showthread....-quot-fighting This is the advice I received and it was right on the money for a fix..... In plan view, click on the camera you are using for the render view you are showing and go to the cameras specifications dbx. Under the "Camera" tab, go to the view clipping section, uncheck the default and change the "clip surfaces within" box from the default 24" to let's say 300". You can play with this number for different results.
Another thing to check is to see if your plan is close to the origin 0,0,0. Some times if it is a long distance from there you get funny render results.

You have probably clicked the Perspective Full Overview and zoomed in. Just use the Full Camera.
