You used roof baselines. Select the roof baseline and hit the delete key.
Read up on what roof baselines do. Most of the time you will not need them but they do come in handy for some special uses.
Umm, I can not select the baselines then delete them, I can select but no delete. If you are experiencing the same turn off the baseline poly-lines in the layers dbx.
Andy.
Use the tab key to get to your roof baselines or go to edit/delete objects/ select all floors/ check roof baseline polylines/ left click okay.

What Louis meant to say is "roof baseline polylines":)Quote:

Way over half the people I've helped have checked roof baseline polyline when they're building the roof automatically and then got in trouble when roof changes were made. They thought they were to check that everytime they built the roof. No, in fact most times, you won't, unless you're going to use them and you know what you're doing. Deleting the roofs doesn't delete the roof baseline polyline generated...you have to delete it manually. I'm always surprised at how many people don't know this. Just a comment.
And a good comment Tommy...maybe this tool should be less prominent in the build roof dbx. Its a tool that is not used too much, most of us use railings and invisible walls to control auto roof generation.

I agree, just vision the poor newbie who is just learning how to do roofs.
Lew
When you select the roof baseline polyline, the whole area contained within the polyline hilights, so you may think you have selected a room or the whole building.
Also, If you really did want to use the roof baseline polyline and you wanted to see the polyline, BUT you wanted to hide the roof slope labels (as you requested in the first post), select the polyline, open it's dbx, go to the Line Style tab, uncheck Show Length in the Display Options box.
When you select anything, you can look at the bottom left of your monitor (screen) and see what you have selected at any given time.Quote:
